The Faces Behind
B.SMOOTHED by Nae & Chè, two friends from West London, skipped the path to uni and ran straight into the world of work, and self education. On their own unique journey, they set about exploring the world of fitness and well-being. Both coming from holistic backgrounds, they aim to treat sickness and stress with plants and food rather than pills.
Love and respect - for the planet, for our bodies and for ourselves - are at the heart of everything they do. We only have one body in this life, so why not take the kindness and the care to know what you're putting on, and into our skin.
"I’ve always been intrigued with the ingredients inside products, like, why Is the list so long with words I literally have no clue how to pronounce?
I was a basic cocoa butter, then coconut oil kind of girl. Now, I have the nae & chè glow. Our products have huge beneficial properties to your skin, and no harmful implications." -Nae
Nae & Chè spent 2019/20 mastering their craft, refining the oils and the mixtures. With months of testing, with extensive trials on family and friend as well as on themselves, they discovered what makes the best ingredients for their products and brings the best to your skin.
“I’ve grown up with a modern day hippie as a mum. She grows the food she eats, has Manuka honey in the first aid draw and treats her body as a whole when it comes to illness, mentality and general survival. I don’t look down on western medicine, if anything I follow the science like everyone else but in a holistic way. I've been mixing and making my own funky concoctions for skin and hair for a while. For me, the most power we can have is being connected to our bodies and listening to its needs.” -Chè
